1. Booking and Payment

1.1. Customers can book tours through our website or by contacting our customer service team.
1.2. Full payment (100%) is required at the time of booking.
1.3. Payments can be made securely via our website using a credit or debit card.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1. If a customer cancels their booking, the following cancellation fees apply:

• 30% of the total cost if canceled 14 days or more before the tour date.

• 100% of the total cost if canceled less than 14 days before the tour date.

2.2. If Empyrean Tours cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions, customers will receive a full refund.
2.3. Empyrean Tours is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by the customer due to cancellations (e.g., travel or accommodation expenses).

3. Tour Itinerary and Changes

3.1. Empyrean Tours reserves the right to adjust tour itineraries due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.
3.2. If changes occur, we will inform customers as soon as possible.
3.3. If a customer is dissatisfied with significant changes, they may cancel their booking for a full refund.

4. Responsibility and Liability

4.1. Empyrean Tours is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the tour.
4.2. Customers are responsible for their own safety and must follow all instructions provided by guides.
4.3. Empyrean Tours is not responsible for additional expenses incurred due to injury, loss, or property damage during the tour.

5. Pregnant Participants

5.1. Pregnant participants should consult their doctor before joining any tour. Empyrean Tours reserves the right to refuse participation if a tour is deemed unsafe.
5.2. Due to the physical demands of some tours, pregnant women may not be allowed to participate in certain activities.

6. Children

6.1. Children are welcome on our tours but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Some tours may have age restrictions, which are clearly stated in the tour description. If your child is below the required age, please contact our customer service team for assistance.
6.2. Children under 2 years old are cherished guests, but to ensure a comfortable experience for all, we limit the number of infants on each tour. This allows us to give each child the attention they deserve while maintaining a smooth experience for all guests.

7. Animal Welfare and Interaction

7.1. At Empyrean Tours, animal welfare is our top priority. All animals involved in our tours are treated with care and respect. Guests must not mistreat, abuse, or harm any animals. Violation of this policy will result in removal from the tour without a refund and taking legal actions if needed.
7.2. Our tours may include trained animals such as dogs. While they are accustomed to human interaction, we ask guests to respect their space and follow our guides' instructions at all times.

8. Insurance

8.1. We strongly recommend that customers have travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
8.2. Empyrean Tours is not responsible for any financial loss due to lack of adequate travel insurance.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. Empyrean Tours values customer privacy and will never share personal information with third parties.
9.2. Any personal data collected is used solely for booking and providing our tour services.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by Finnish law.
10.2. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Finland.

11. Safety Rules

11.1. Husky Tour Guidelines

Our sled dogs are friendly and love meeting guests, but it’s important to remember they are working animals, not household pets. Please follow these rules:

• Do not bring food inside the dog enclosure (even small snacks can cause problems).

• Stay calm and do not run inside the kennel.

• Do not sit or lie down while dogs are freely roaming.

• Approach kennels only with the permission of the guide.

• Do not put your hands through the fence—dogs may mistake gloves or hands for toys.

• Do not litter in the dog kennel, as animals may eat foreign objects and become ill.

• Entry is strictly prohibited if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

• Inform us of any health conditions, including pregnancy, before participating.

During the Sled Ride:

• The sled driver must follow the guide’s instructions at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without a refund or compensation.

• Keep your hands and legs inside the sled as a passenger at all times.

• Remain seated until instructed to stand up.

• Pregnant guests may not be allowed on the sled ride.

• If allowed, Infants must be accompanied by a caretaker at all times.

By booking a tour with Empyrean Tours, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
